The technology for this termination is from the Aerospace industry where performance is critical and where only 360 degree terminations are good enough.

Our experience tells is that metallic cable braids (especially SY braid) are unruly and difficult to fit into a cone trap, thus, the design brief was simple:

• Easy to fit

• 360 degree grounding

The spring-clamp system allows the cable and cable jacket to go through the gland, the braid is then folded back over the metallic spout inside the panel and clamped with a double wire torsion spring affording secure 360 degree termination in seconds.
